Help direct traffic and guide participants to the correct parking area. Parking attendants will be provided a yellow safety vest and illuminated traffic wands.

Sign Holders High Priority

Details

Help guide runners and walkers along the race course! Volunteers will be stationed at designated turns and intersections to hold directional and motivational signs, guide participants, and cheer them on. This is one of our most important volunteer roles!

Refreshment Table and Raffle Medium Priority

Details

Help organize and distribute post-race refreshments, prepare raffle prizes, distribute raffle tickets, and assist with raffle drawings and awards.

Event Breakdown High Priority

Details

Help us leave Crandon Park as beautiful as we found it! Volunteers will assist with collecting signs, cones, tables, tents, and other supplies, as well as cleaning up the event area after the race.

Event Set up

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Help us get everything ready for race day! Volunteers will assist with setting up tents, tables, registration areas, directional signs, water stations, and other event supplies. Early arrival is required.

Course Marshal

Details

Help keep our runners safe and on course! Volunteers will ride a bicycle or scooter along the race route to monitor participants, provide directions and encouragement, communicate any issues to race organizers, and assist runners who may need help. This is an important role in ensuring a safe and organized race experience. Volunteers must provide their own bicycle or scooter and be comfortable navigating the course.

Finish Line and Medals

Details

Celebrate our runners as they cross the finish line! Volunteers will help direct finishers, distribute medals, and keep the finish area organized.

Kids Dash Assistant

Details

Help our youngest runners have a fun and exciting race experience! Volunteers will assist with lining up children, guiding them along the short course, cheering them on, and helping at the finish line.

Volunteer Coordinator

Help oversee our amazing race-day volunteer team! This leadership role involves checking in volunteers, communicating assignments, ensuring positions are staffed, and helping resolve any issues that arise during the event.

Transportation

Transport volunteers to and from their posts in a car and/or golf cart. Must be familiar with the course and all the volunteer posts.
