Kids Races Volunteer

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

This group of volunteers will help prepare each age group of kids to get to the start line and then escort them off the field.

Volunteers for LRC events must be at least 18 years of age unless they are under the supervision of their parent/guardian. Volunteerism is at the heart of everything we do as a club, and we want to foster that spirit of giving back among the youth of our community. There are opportunities for minors to assist and earn service hours at our races with their parents/guardians. Please contact races@lakelandrunnersclub.org to coordinate these assignments.

Packet Pick Up - Race Day

Distribute bibs and add-on gear sales as runners arrive for their events. Runners need to pick up their packets 30 minutes before the start of their event.

7:00 AM - Heat 1 50-Minute Run
8:00 AM - Heat 2 50-Minute Run
9:00 AM - Heat 3 50-Minute Run
10:00 AM - Youth Races
11:00 AM - T-Rex Run
12:00 PM - 1-Mile Time Trial

Ambassadors will man the LRC tent in groups of two to share information with our community on membership, 2023 races, and our group runs and training programs.
