Aid Station Volunteer High Priority

Details

Volunteers for this position will work at the aid stations on the course. You will distribute water, electrolyte drink, gels, food and snacks to the runners as they go along the course. Instructions for the aid station will be in one of the two plastic bins at the aid station. Please review the instructions and text the race director at 407-314-8583 to let him know that you are at the aid station. Please try to arrive 10-15 minutes before your shift starts.

Location

Martin Dairy Road Access Point of the Trail. This location is accessed from Turnbull Bay Road by heading North on Martin Dairy Road until you reach the trail access point towards the end of the road. You will see a 10x10 tent with table and aid station supplies along with a portable restroom at the location. You can click on this URL to see the location in Google Maps.

Course Sweeper Medium Priority

December 14, 2024

Details

The course sweeper will follow the last runner on their last loop of the course. Volunteers for this position must be capable of running at least 8 miles and be prepared to pick up surveyor flags and signs from the course on their lap.

Location

You will start from the start / finish line located at the Creek Shore Trail access point of the Doris Leeper Park. Once you pull into the park you will follow the road down and to the right until you come to an area blocked by fence. You will park among the other vehicles there and you can walk to the start / finish line from there. You will see yard signs directing you to the area.

Parking assistance Low Priority

Details

Volunteers for this task will help participants with parking in the morning before the race.

Location

You will start from the start / finish line located at the Creek Shore Trail access point of the Doris Leeper Park. Once you pull into the park you will follow the road down and to the right until you come to pavilion near the portable restrooms. Check in at the pavilion to receive instructions and your flashlight and safety vest.
