This volunteer opportunity involves leading 5K participants through the 5K course. Individual must be familiar with the course prior to race morning. Report to Centennial Park for volunteer meeting 6:45am, be lined up ready to go by 7:20am.

Location

Volunteer leads the 5K Runners. Person must ride the course at least once prior to the start of the race. Volunteer needs to keep a safe distance from the 1st runner, remain within site of the runner, and communicate to the RD's of any issues.

Course Marschall High Priority

At least 15 more volunteers needed.

Details

Ensure the runners are on the correct route and headed the right direction. You will be expected to cheer on the runners as well as directing them. Estimated time on the course 1.5 hours. Exact location TBD, report to Centennial Park for volunteer meeting 6:45am.

Ryan Homes Water Stop High Priority

Details

This volunteer opportunity involves managing the water stop you've been stationed at for the duration of the race. This includes picking up any cups left behind by runners, filling water cups, and communicating if water has run out. Volunteers report to Centennial Park for volunteer meeting at 6:45am. Volunteers must be at the water station by 7:20am. Estimated time at this station is 1 hour.

Location

The mailbox center on S Port Harbor Blvd.

Finish Line Water High Priority

At least 3 more volunteers needed.

Details

This volunteer opportunity involves handing out water to participants as they cross the finish line. Water must be available to participants immediately. This includes picking up cups and replenishing water when necessary. Volunteer must arrive by 6:45am for a briefing and be in place at 7:30a.m. Estimated volunteer time is 2 hours.

Hand Out Finisher Medals at Finish Line Medium Priority

At least 3 more volunteers needed.

Details

Report to Centennial Park at 6:452m for a volunteer briefing. Report to volunteer position by 7:30am. This volunteer opportunity involves handing out finisher medals to participants as they cross the finish line. Everyone who crosses the line receives a finisher medal. Estimated volunteer time is 2 hours.
