Race Day Set Up/Tear Down High Priority

Details

Saturday 10/14, 6:00 a.m. - 11 a.m.

Help direct participants to registration and/or start line - monitor race area to keep clean - direct people to restrooms, etc. Responsible for making sure the route is clean, bringing tables back to registration, collecting chairs, returning awards, taking down banner, cleaning up all areas post race including refueling stations.

Saturday 10/14 6:45 - 8:30 a.m

Saturday, Report at 6:30 am (registration begins at 7:00 am). Registration closes at 8:30 a.m. Hand out numbers and t-shirts to pre-registered participants. Also help direct crowd to the bib table and encourage people to sign them and wear during the race.

Course Guide High Priority

You must be 18-80 years old to volunteer for this task.

Details

Saturday 10/14, 7:00 a.m. - race completion (around 10 a.m.)
Responsible for being at your assigned location along the route to guide participants and cheer them on. When you check in on Saturday morning, our Volunteer coordinator, will assign your location to you and help you get to your location on the route.

Your job is very important and it is necessary you report at 6:45 am on Saturday, October 14 at the Clover Park. There will also be a quick meeting with the Police Officers for you to help ensure safety along the route. You will cheer on participants, and most importantly help direct traffic at intersections to keep our race route safe.

Refueling Station Medium Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Saturday 10/14, 7:00 a.m. - race completion (around 9:15 a.m.)
Hand out food and water to runners and walkers. Will need to prep food before race is finished and clean up the concession stands once done.

Pre-Race Set Up High Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Report at 6:00 a.m. on October 14 to the Clover Park. Transport t-shirts, water, signs, and other race materials to race site. Get registration set up – tables, chairs, etc. Set up map. Set up numbers for registration. Organize t-shirts for registration. Move water. Cutting boards and knives delivered to right area and cleaned. Set out markers and memory/honor bibs. Set up participant banner for signatures. Set up late registration area. Set up wave banners.
