Course Radio Marshall

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

A Course radio Marshall will be posted every 1/4 mile along the course. Myakka River State Park has no cell service and therefore it is necessary for us post course Marshall's with 2-way radios at 1/4 mile intervals along the course. Keeping our runners safe is very Important to us. This is a very important job. No one under 18 years of age will be able to hold these positions. All volunteers will geta Race Volunteer Shirt and a meal from Johnnies Old Fashion BBQ.

Parking Attendant

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 30 more volunteers needed.

Details

This group will need to be at the race by 4:00 AM. You should be done by 7:30 AM. You will be directing cars where to park. We will provide you with lighted Safety Vest and flash lights. you will also be directing runners where to go after they are parked. We are also looking for a volunteer to step and head this task. You would responsible for all the volunteers on your team and keeping them organized and assure parking runs smoothly and safe for or guest.

Course/ Race Volunteer

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 39 more volunteers needed.

Details

Directing runners on the course. Cheering for runners on the course. Handing out Finisher Medals at the finish line. Handing out the chocolate milk and water at the finish line. Working a bounce house. Working on the early morning parking crew. Working on the sales team to acquire sponsorships. Working packet pickup! Children 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Course Setup

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 30 more volunteers needed.

Details

Help set up the cones on the course, mile markers, water stations. Patrol the course during the race. This is to be done on Friday the 20th.
