Assist Race Director with pre-race assigned tasks such as setting up food & awards tables, decor and photo props, setting up finish line water station, etc. Middle School Students must be accompanied with an adult. High school students can accompany an adult, or two high school students will be paired together (two student volunteers count as 1 adult volunteer).

You will be placed out on the course ensure runners/walkers stay on the course route. Middle school and elementary school children must be accompanied by an adult. High school students can accompany an adult, or two high school students will be paired together (two student volunteers count as 1 adult volunteer).

Water Stations High Priority

Details

We need two adults at a one mile marker water station. You will set up water bottles on the table so runners can grab it as they pass by the water station. Additionally, you will need to clean up any discarded bottles as runners pass by and after the last runner/walker goes through the water station. Contact Race Director if fluids or supplies need to be replenished. Pick up any trash (empty bottles, fuel packets, etc) prior to breaking down the water station.

Race Site Clean Up - Post Race High Priority

Details

This task includes but not limited to: emptying full garbage cans and replacing the bags at the finish line water station and around the race site during the race as they will get quite full as runners come across the finish line. Additionally, police the race site area (grassy area, finish line, area near portalets, and parking lot) for any garbage and throw it away. The race site must be cleaned before we can leave the venue.
