This volunteer task is full.

Often times this is the first onsite contact a runner makes with each event. Making sure they are greeted with a kind word and smile helps set the pace for their overall experience. Yep...you're that powerful. :)

At the registration tent, you will typically serve two "types".
1. those needing to pick up their race packet
2. those seeking to register
Attention to detail in making sure forms are filled out completely and that they receive the correct items needed is imperative.

A GSGRP team member will be present to guide and answer any questions.

Water Station Squad High Priority

You must be 18-80 years old to volunteer for this task.

See yourself as a welcomed site in the eyes of the runner. One with a cup of sheer goodness in your hands. Ok, so you're handing out cups or bottles of water. :)

Each run consists of a finish line hydration and nutrition station with additional "on route" stations, strategically placed throughout the run course. This critical position not only serves the well being of each runner it serves as a great opportunity to encourage someone needing that extra boost.

Safety is always our number one priority. If at any time you recognize a potential safety concern, please let a GSGRP team member know. If the concern is health-related and/or if there is a health emergency...
a) FINISHLINE VOLS - report the issue immediately to the registration tent

Remember the last time someone cheered and inspired you to keep going and not give up? One of the most appreciated aspects of a run are the cheers encountered along a and run.
