Route/Intersection Coordinator

Coordinates the route/intersection support volunteers that are out on the course ensuring that intersections are staffed. A possible need to circulate the course via bicycle to check in with the route support volunteers.

Route/Intersection Support

At least 12 more volunteers needed.

Details

Route/Intersection support volunteers will be out on the course for the duration of the event guiding participants through intersections and ensuring safety at all times. Plan on being very supportive and spirited for this position cheering the participants on as they make their way to the finish line!

There will be 2-3 volunteers per intersection along the course.

Registration Supports

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

These helpful volunteers will be confirming race registration and handing out shirts to the participants who have signed up for the event.

Location

Central Park Start/Finish line.

Finish Line Team

At least 4 more volunteers needed.

Details

The finish line team will be very task motivated by watching the clock and pulling race bib tabs of each runner and documenting the time the runner crosses the finish line. There will be several finish line volunteers taking time and pulling tabs. Good communication and focused attention will be necessary for these positions.

Water Station (on course)

Details

Supporting participants at a designated location on the course who will have refreshments for those who wish to stop for a drink. Costumes and fun flare is welcome, or coordinate a theme!

Post-Race Refreshments

At least 3 more volunteers needed.

Details

Ensuring there are refreshments available on tables for the participants after their event. Pack lots of smiles!

General "go-for..." Position

At least 4 more volunteers needed.

Details

Being available to jump into whatever situation might come up. "Put me in coach, I'm ready!"
