You'll be assisting at the start line of DAM to DSM. You'll be helping with directionals, water and making sure everyone knows where they should be prior to getting on the Saylorville Dam.

The finish line is full of good vibes: high fives, water, medals and YOU! Finish-line crew members are responsible for congratulating the runners on a race well-done, and assisting them at the finish line by providing waters, medals, and more!

Post-race Party High Priority

June 1, 2024

Details

The post-race is where the athletes celebrate their race! You'll be assisting with post-race food and hydration, selfies, keeping Cowles Commons picked up and keeping the post-race celebration fun and safe.

Teardown Crew High Priority

June 1, 2024

Details

Teardown crew is responsible for helping to deconstruct DAM to DSM as it is being completed! Teardown will begin as soon as the final athletes leave each section on the race (start-line, aid stations, etc.), and will conclude with areas such as the finish-line, post-race party, merchandise tents, and more.

Specific teardown locations will be assigned day-of.

Shuttle Bus Driver High Priority

June 1, 2024

Details

Shuttle bus drivers are responsible for picking up runners at each location, and dropping them off at Saylorville Dam at the start line. Generally, bus pick-up times occur between 5:00 am - 6:00 am.

Location

The bus pick-up locations are DMACC Ankeny Campus, Downtown Des Moines, and Merle Hay Mall.

Eide Bailly Fan-Zone Volunteer High Priority

June 1, 2024

Details

Join us for the morning volunteering at the Eide Bailly fan zone! It will be a cheering section full of cowbells, music, food, and fun! There you will assist with various roles, including: set-up and tear-down of fan zone, distributing cowbells, building out branded materials, etc.

The corner of NW 66th and NW 26th adjacent to Casey's

PC Bike Support High Priority
