Race Day Course Marking High Priority

June 20, 2026

Details

Course Marking & Setup | June 20 | 5:30 AM (High Priority)

Early bird gets the worm — and the BEST job on race day! Course Marking & Setup volunteers are the behind-the-scenes MVPs who make the entire race possible. You'll arrive at 5:30 AM and help us lay out signage, mark the course, and make sure every turn, cone, and mile marker is perfectly in place before the first runner hits the pavement. No course markings? No race. It's that simple — and that important.
Here's the best part: this is the perfect volunteer shift for runners and walkers who also want to toe the start line! Get the course set up, soak in that early morning energy, and then go run the race yourself. You'll know every twist and turn better than anyone out there!
This shift requires the ability to walk up to 2 miles. Early risers only — but we promise the sunrise over Caldwell makes it worth it!

Course Tear Down Crew | June 20 | Post-Race (High Priority)

Think the fun stops at the finish line? Think again! The Course Tear Down Crew are the ultimate finish-line heroes — the dedicated crew who make sure we leave Caldwell just as beautiful as we found it. After the last runner crosses the finish line, you'll help us break down signage, collect course markers, and pack up the event area so we can do this all over again next year. It's hard work, but it's incredibly satisfying — and the post-race vibes are absolutely electric.
And yes — this is ANOTHER perfect shift for runners and walkers competing in the race! Cross your finish line, celebrate, and then roll up your sleeves and help us wrap up one of Caldwell's best days of the year. Your community needs you from start to finish — literally!
This shift requires either the ability to lift and carry items up to 30 lbs OR walk/bike up to 2 miles. Come ready to work and leave knowing you made a real difference!
