Details

Water Station 2 will be located approximately at mile marker 2 of the 3.1 mile (or 5k) race. It will be in an easily accessible area (parking lot near by) and have shade. Table, cups and water will be provided.
Task: Fill cups with a few ounces of water and hold them on your palm for people to grab as they run/walk by. Pick up tossed cups after all runners have passed your station. Coordinator will let you know what "bib" number to look for for the final runner. Then, tear down, throw what's left in your car and meet back at the Peg Bond Center for some food and music!

Time Comittment: 9:45am (setup) - approx 11:45am

**Works best with at least 2 people. 1 filling and 1 handing out

Silent Auction Medium Priority

Details

Help set-up silent auction items and/or bidding sheets. Help direct people to silent auction area (should be inside the center) and encourage bidding, answer questions, etc. Finalize bids and make sure winning bidders take their items (if present).

Set-up Medium Priority

Details

There's a lot to get ready before racers arrive! Some things may include:
- Help with getting the course marked and ready with signage (Can be driven to, may require some walking).
- Get tables, chairs, water and cups to their designated water station areas (Can be driven to, may require some walking and carrying)
- Setting up tables, chairs, and paperwork for registration at Center
- Unloading water bottles, race packets, giveaways, serve ware, etc from the cars and bringing to the Center
etc.

Check-in/Registration High Priority

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Check-in runners that have previously signed up online (checklist will be provided) and give them their race "bibs," wristband, giveaway cup, etc.
Help sign up new runners who are registering the day of the event, take payment, assign/give race "bibs," wristband, giveaway, etc.

Tables and chairs will be provided

Time Commitment: 8:30AM (setup), Registration opens at 9am - approx. 10:15AM

Tear down/Clean Up Medium Priority

Details

After the event, there will be some items that will need to be cleaned up (any leftover trash in the area), put back (tables, chairs, etc.), and picked up (signs along trail, etc). If you can do these things throughout the event so there's less to do after, that would be great, too!
