Details

Course marshals are critical for safety! They stand along the race course and direct runners. Cheering also helps the runners! Course marshals will check in at the pavilion, then walk to their assigned spot. Volunteer time goes from 8:00 am to ~12:00 pm. For questions, contact us at lovesmiles2120@gmail.com.

Morning Race Crew Set Up

You must be 12 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Set-up volunteers put up tables, fill water cups, hang signs and banners, set up the finish line, place the mile markers, and put out the cones. This task is ideal for people who also want to run or walk the 5K. Set-up is from 6:00 am to 8:30 am. For questions, contact us at lovesmiles2120@gmail.com.

Race Morning Packet Pick Up

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Race Day Packet pick-up volunteers help participants check-in and receive their bib and shirt. Packet pick-up volunteers must have a smartphone and be willing to download the RaceDay CheckIn App. Race day packet pick-up is an ideal position for people who also want to run or walk the 5K, but are not worried about placing for a medal. Finish Line Crew

Details

Finish line volunteers set up cups, pour water and sports drink, hand out food, and cheer on the participants. Finish-line volunteering is ideal for our younger volunteers and groups of volunteers.
