Help spread the word about the Be A Hero 5K by placing yard signs throughout the CU community between October 1–3. The time is flexible, you just need to pick up the signs at Cunningham during the week of September 28 between 8 AM to 5 PM. Volunteers will receive a route and approximately 10–15 signs to place at designated locations. This opportunity works especially well for small groups of 2–3 people, making it a fun and easy way to support Cunningham while helping increase awareness of the race. Flexible scheduling and minimal time commitment!

Help keep our runners and walkers safe by directing them around the course. This important task will include monitoring traffic near parking lot entrances along the route, holding off vehicles from entering while runners/walkers are crossing driveways, and directing participants at turns.

Be part of the course team! Direct runners and walkers helping them stay the course while cheering them on and offering words of encouragement.
Duties include acting crazy, screaming, cheering, laughing — anything to bring out a smile on our runners faces! Standing for long periods of time is possible, but cheering from your folding chair is welcome!
Signs will be available to help you cheer but feel free to make a homemade sign of encouragement!
