Details

Volunteers in this role direct the runners where to go, while cheering them on and keeping an eye out for any injury or safety concerns.

Course marshals are expected to wear a hi-viz vest and be on their feet during the whole race.

Location

Course marshals will choose a location on course, in collaboration with the race director. Course marshals report straight to their location on raceday.

Race Site Volunteer

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

Volunteers in this role will help participants redeem their voucher for additional piece of swag. Volunteers could also help distribute chili or beer.

Location

Volunteers in this role report to the Pioneer Woods picnic shelter.

Kids Race Coordinator

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Volunteers in this role will each assist with one aspect of the kids race, including:
- checking kids in & handing out bibs/hats
- corraling the kids at the start,
- directing & cheering the kids on course,
- handing out medals and root beer at the finish.

Location

Volunteers in this role report to the Pioneer Woods picnic shelter.
