General Volunteer Medium Priority

This is for general volunteer availability. We will have many tasks which you will be able to choose from when you come on site, or tell us what you prefer and we will attempt to match you up with what you want.

First Aid High Priority

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

If you are a nurse or medical professional, we are in need of general first aid support throughout the race event.

Aid Station

At least 10 more volunteers needed.

Details

The Aid Station is the main tent where runners and walkers stop between loops for nutrition and hydration or moral support and assistance. Aid Station work is generally food preparation and re-supply, runner assistance for filling water bottles and serving food items, assisting runners in need and directing them to supplies and first aid as appropriate. The Aid Station is a very important part of the race volunteer effort.

Friday Check In High Priority

At least 4 more volunteers needed.

Details

This is for working the Friday Check In and Packet Pick Up from 4 - 8 PM. We will have live music going during this time so it should be a nice evening.

Trail Monitor

At least 4 more volunteers needed.

Details

Trail Monitors will be stationed at certain places along the trail or asked to generally oversee an area in which you can move around between location and help runners or report issues. This might also include helping with traffic flow and parking as the needs arise. A comfortable chair might be useful.

Trail Marking/Sweep

At least 3 more volunteers needed.

Details

Help with Trail Marking and ensuring the trail markings and signage are in good shape race day will be needed as well as trail sweeping and cleanup Sunday morning.
