Course Guides help participants stay on the correct 5K route. Stationed (standing or sitting) at assigned locations, point runners and walkers in the right direction, cheer them on, and let race staff know if there is a problem or emergency.
Their main job is to help everyone have a safe and enjoyable race.
Course guides should bring a chair if they are planning to sit.
