Course volunteers are strategically placed along the race route to direct and cheer on athletes at specific intersections/locations.
Three volunteers per post. Must have a cell phone to report any needs or injuries to the event First Aid team A safety vest will be provided and worn at all times. NOT stationed in traffic areas. Police will close the streets when course monitors are in their designated locations. Course monitors will stay in their designated places until all runners have passed. There will be a police escort to signify the last runner. Must be 16 years old and up to be a course monitor.
