Course Monitor High Priority

Course monitors will be stationed throughout the course to help runners and walkers stay on the correct path. An estimated 20 volunteers are needed as course monitors. Normally, we will assign two volunteers to each spot -- so sign up with a friend, if you'd like!!

Finish Line: Handing Out Finisher's Medals High Priority

At least 4 more volunteers needed.

We need 3-4 people to hand out medals to participants as they finish.

Refreshment Table High Priority

At least 6 more volunteers needed.

Details

We need 4-6 people to help with the refreshment area, organizing refreshments prior to the race, and helping participants with getting refreshments afterwards.

Lead Biker High Priority

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

We need 1-2 people to ride their bike ahead of the pack of runners, to serve as a guide through the course. You must meet with Task Coordinator on Friday, Feb. 12 to go through the course.

Miscellaneous -- Assign Me Where Needed! Medium Priority

At least 25 more volunteers needed.

Choose this duty if you are willing to help but do not need to specify a duty. The race director will contact you with a duty that is needed, related to managing the race. The duty you're assigned could be prior to race day, allowing you to participate or cheer for others on the day of the race.

Picking up Race Materials Medium Priority

At least 5 more volunteers needed.

Details

This duty includes being assigned the responsibility to pick up race materials from sponsors prior to the day of the race, and then making sure the items are delivered by 8 a.m. on the morning of the race.
