Water Station Attendee High Priority

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 6 more volunteers needed.

Details

There will be three water stations set up along the route. Water station attendees are responsible for staying at the station where they are assigned and hand out cups of water to walkers and runners. They are also responsible for keeping the area around and along the route litter free.

Volunteers should plan to arrive by 8 a.m. and stay the duration of the event.

A volunteer meeting will be scheduled prior to the race; date, time, and place to be announced.

Route Attendee High Priority

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Route attendees are stationed at each corner throughout the course. They are responsible for making sure the walkers and runners navigate each corner safely and don't get lost along the route. They also cheer and motivate the participants to keep going.

These volunteers must be mature and able to handle an emergency situation. Younger than 18 can be accompanied an adult.

Volunteers should plan to arrive by 8 a.m. and stay the duration of the event.

Start & Finish Medium Priority

You must be 16-70 years old to volunteer for this task.

At least 3 more volunteers needed.

Details

This task may require heavy lifting, so plan accordingly. One responsibility will be making sure the barriers are put into place and removed at the end of the event. Other tasks will be assigned as needed for both the beginning and ending of the race.
