Volunteers will work closely with the Race Volunteer Coordinator to support volunteer check-in, distribute t-shirts, share area assignments, communicate roles and responsibilities, and assist with answering general questions.

Details

Assist the Expo Committee with a variety of tasks as needed, including setting up tables and chairs, distributing supplies, hanging signage, organizing and laying out participant shirts, and supporting vendor load-in. Additional duties may be assigned as needed throughout the event.

This role requires the ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 20 lbs.

Packet Distribution

Details

Volunteers will assist with assigning and distributing race bibs based on each participant’s registered race distance. Using a tablet or smartphone, volunteers will scan QR codes to quickly access participant information and assign bibs.

This role requires standing for extended periods of time and comfort using smartphones or tablets. Volunteers may be asked to use their own smartphone, so a fully charged device and the ability to download the event registration app are required. Volunteers should also be able to lift up to 15 lbs as needed.

Shirt Distribution
