Band Ambassador

The Band Ambassador is responsible for serving as the primary liaison between the parade committee and a Marching Band unit. You serve as the “go-to” contact to provide answers to questions about staging, march order and overall knowledge of the parade as it relates to the band. Your role will include greeting the Band Director, walking with the band down Broadway and providing water and safety support as necessary along the parade route. This role does require you to walk alongside the band for the 1.7 Mile Walk.

Dispersal Team

Details

The Dispersal Team works with the Dispersal leadership team to direct units from start to finish on transportation. Your role begins with providing volunteers and participants with directions on where to park, details on shuttle access usage, directions to their staging areas and how to return to their vehicles from the end of the parade route at 9th Street and Broadway.

Equestrian Ambassador

The Equestrian Ambassador is responsible for serving as the primary liaison between the parade committee and an Equestrian Parade Unit. You serve as the “go-to” contact to provide answers to questions about staging, march order and overall knowledge of the parade as it relates to the Equestrian unit. Your role will include greeting the group, walking with the group down Broadway and providing water and safety support as necessary along the parade route. This role does require you to walk alongside the band for the 1.7 Mile Walk. Recommended experience with horses for this role but not required.

Equestrian Pooper Scooper

Details

Will work as part of the team assisting with equestrian unit clean up. Some volunteers will be stationary at the loading areas and others will walk with the units in the parade. This is a 1.7 Mile Walk.

Float Ambassador

The Float Ambassador is responsible for serving as the primary liaison between the parade committee and a Float Unit. You serve as the “go-to” contact to provide answers to questions about staging, march order and overall knowledge of the parade as it relates to the Float. Your role will include greeting the group, walking with the unit down Broadway and providing water and safety support as necessary along the parade route. This role does require you to walk alongside the band for the 1.7 Mile Walk.

Inflatable Ambassador

The Inflatable Ambassador is responsible for serving as the primary liaison between the parade committee and an Inflatable Unit. You serve as the “go-to” contact to provide answers to questions about staging, march order and overall knowledge of the parade as it relates to the Inflatable unit. Your role will include greeting the group, walking with the unit down Broadway and providing water and safety support as necessary along the parade route. This role does require you to walk alongside the band for the 1.7 Mile Walk.

Safety Team

Details

Safety Team: Will be tasked with ensuring the safety of volunteers and participants of the parade. Safety Team will be staged along the route to distribute water and monitor parade participants.

Shuttle Host

Details

Shuttle Hosts will work in pairs but are welcome to work solo if they prefer. You will ride the shuttle with each group and ensure that all parties get on and off where necessary. (Based on provided schedule). You are provided with parade information to assist in answering group questions. Your role is to ride on shuttle buses and act as a seated customer service person. Upon completion, this group will be able to watch the parade from a designated location. 

Specialty Ambassador

The Specialty Ambassador is responsible for serving as the primary liaison between the parade committee and a Specialty Unit. You serve as the “go-to” contact to provide answers to questions about staging, march order and overall knowledge of the parade as it relates to the Inflatable unit. Your role will include greeting the group, walking with the unit down Broadway and providing water and safety support as necessary along the parade route. This role does require you to walk alongside the band for the 1.7 Mile Walk.

Start Team

April 27, 2025

Details

The Start Team are tasked with assisting with the flow of the beginning of the parade. Your role is to provide directional support to the units, along with answering general questions, greeting parade participants and starting their route off with a smile.
