Details

This role is one of the most important ones. Working at positions along the course, marshals will help to keep runners on course, offer them encouragement, and ensure the course is clear for runners. Volunteers will also look out for injured participants and call for medical help if needed.

Start/Finish Line Support

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Volunteers will assist at the start and finish of the race. At the start, they will assist with lining up runners, ensuring that the elite runners are at the front. At the finish, volunteers will be responsible for cheering on participants as they approach the finish line, keeping traffic flowing and looking out for injured runners.

Volunteers will hand out pre- and post-race snacks and beverages.

Kids' Activities and Fun Run

Details

Volunteers will help with activities, games and the Fun Run for kids ages 2-9. Volunteers should be able to stand for 3 hours and have good communication skills.

Medical Staff

You must be 21 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Medical personnel will provide medical assistance to runners at our water stops. Volunteers must be licensed medical professionals (nurse, doctor, EMT).

Parking and Traffic

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

A perfect role for early birds with a keen eye for customer service and logistics. In this critical role, you will help to ensure the safety of our participants and spectators by managing traffic, assisting with parking and crowd control, as well as directing people in the event of an emergency or inclement weather.

Shift time: 7:30am - 11:30am

The race day registration volunteer is responsible for checking in runners, processing walk-in registrations, and passing out bibs and t-shirts on race day. Requires excellent communications skills and a cheerful attitude.

Water/Aid Stations

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Water station volunteers will fill and hand out cups of water to race participants. Volunteers will ensure that the station stays clean.
