Details

For this task, a volunteer under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult (18 or older) at all times. Meet in the parking lot adjacent to Westlake Drive. Direct all participants on the correct running course...and bring your noisemakers if you have any. Easy course instructions will be given on race morning.

Assist parents sign up their kids via our Kiosks. Parents can sign up on their phone as well. Registration will be located in the parking lot adjacent to Westlake Drive.

Volunteer Check-in

Details

Check in volunteers near the START line in the parking lot. If you are able to stay after your task is complete, be sure to tell the coordinator on race day in case another task needs to be fulfilled.

Parking Attendant

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Direct vehicles into parking spaces in the parking lot adjacent to Westlake Drive. Two (2) attendants are needed.
Optional: These two volunteers can have a dual role at the very same spot as a Course Marshal. Age preference for this "dual" role is 18 or older).
If you just want to be a Parking Attendant, you got it!

To lead several heats of events (1/4 mile, 1/2 mile, 1 mile) by staying ahead of all Speedy Gonzalez participants.

Finish Line Giveaway

Details

You will be positioned just after the finish line ready to hand out a giveaway to each participant. FINISH line will be in the parking lot adjacent to Westlake Drive. Four (4) volunteers are needed.

Truck Unloading

This volunteer task is full.

Details

After the race event has ended at the park, staff will meet you at the below location. You can also sign up for another available task for this race and still help before Truck Unloading.

Meet at the MCRRC Warehouse to help clean and put away equipment. Will take less than an hour from start to finish.
