Set-up volunteers may run the race.
Please arrive by 6:45 am. Help carry boxes and all race materials to the start/finish area. Help set up tables, chairs, tents, garbage and recycling bins. If needed, help set up timing mats and equipment.

Water Stop Volunteers High Priority

Details

Hand out water and cheer the runners on! You will first come to the race start to get the water, cups, a table. You will take these materials to the water stop location and set up the table. Pour a few dozen cups half full, and be prepared to hand them to runners as they pass. There is only 1 water stop. After the sweeper passes your table, pack everything up, pick up any discarded cups and garbage and return to the start/finish area.

Registration/Bib Hand Out Table High Priority

Give runners their running bibs/packets, checking their names against the registration list. Each runner should receive safety pins with their bib. Please bring your own folding chair

Details

This position may run the race.
After the last runner finishes, help break down and stow all tables, chairs, tents. Take supplies to the cars that will return them to the shed. Collect garbage and recycling and dispose of as directed by the Volunteer Coordinator. Walk the finish area and pick up any stray garbage.

Details

Set up timing mats, sensors, and laptop equipment, the race clock, a table, chairs and a protective tent (against rain) no later than 2 hours before the race start. Test timing.
After the race, pack all equipment safely and give to the Race Directors to return to storage.

Ride the full course ahead of the runners. Ensure the trail is clear and signage is in place. Please arrive by 8 am. Bring your own bicycle & helmet.
