Race Day Duties

Safety Cones setup High Priority

Help unload tables/chairs, supplies, etc. Assist with day-of preparations as needed.

Course Safety Marshals High Priority

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Course Marshals will be given a safety vest and flag. Their responsibility is to direct runners and alert motorists of a race in progress. Instructions relative to each event marshall location will be provided before the race and during a mandatory briefing the morning of the race. Shift ends when course sweep affirms that the last runner has passed each crossing.

Location

Check in at finish line with Joy Emery by 8:15am. Be at your assigned post by 8:40am.

Parking lot attendant High Priority

You must be 13 or older to volunteer for this task.

You'll lead the pack of runners through the course. Must be able to ride (or run) faster than the fastest, which will be around a 5 minute mile runner.
