Event Day Set-up - May 18 (SATURDAY)

Details

Set us up for success at the Bags and Beers Cornhole Tournament from Noon - 4:00PM on Saturday, May 18, 2024. Tasks include setting up tables and chairs, unloading equipment and supplies, moving equipment and supplies to different areas at the event location, setting up stations (registration, check-in, raffle sales, refreshments, tournament courts, etc.). Lifting required.

This opportunity is eligible for service hours. Bring your service hours form to the event for a signature.

NOTE: You will complete the AUSOM Volunteer Application during the online registration process and receive an automated confirmation by email.

Event Day Traffic and Parking

Details

Practice your traffic cop dance moves at the Bags and Beers Cornhole Tournament from Noon - 4:00PM on May 18, 2024. Direct drivers (volunteers, exhibitors, participants) where to park before the event. Parking will be located at Reckless Shepherd Brewing Co. and nearby parking lots. On-site training and safety equipment (vests, flags, etc.) will be provided.

This opportunity is eligible for service hours. Bring your service hours form to the event for a signature.

Not everyone gets to it ahead of time. Help the procrastinators register at the Bags and Beers Cornhole Tournament from Noon - 4:00PM on May 18, 2024 Volunteers will process day-of registrations online on the event website or off-line with paper forms. Volunteers need experience registering on a laptop, tablet or smartphone. Registration will be open until 15 minutes before tournament play begins.

Cornhole players want to size up the competition and spectators want to find a good spot to watch the action. Help pre-registered participants check-in and collect their food and beverage tickets at the Bags and Beers Cornhole Tournament from Noon -4:00PM on May 18, 2024. Volunteers will check-in participants using RunSignUp's CheckIn app on a tablet or smartphone.

Raffle Sales

Unlucky cornhole participants will want to take a chance at winning the 50/50 Raffle and Wheelbarrow of Cheer. Help them increase their odds of winning by selling raffle tickets at the Bags and Beers Cornhole Tournament from Noon - 5:00PM on May 18, 2024. Volunteers will process raffle ticket and beverage purchases (with a laptop, tablet or smartphone), prepare raffle tickets for the drawing, and finalize raffle prizes.

Clean-up and Load-in at AUSOM office

And you thought the event ends when the last bag has landed. It's not glamorous but we need your help cleaning up and leaving no trace at the Bags and Beers Cornhole Tournament from Noon - 4:00PM on May 18, 2024. Help pack up the registration/refreshment/exhibitor areas, collect signage, fold up tables/chairs, load equipment/supplies, and collect trash. Lifting required.
