Cheer Team Medium Priority

Details

Cheer on participants along the walk/run route using positive encouragement and enthusiasm.
Motivate walkers and runners of all ages and fitness levels to keep going and celebrate their accomplishments.
Create a welcoming and uplifting environment that promotes community spirit.
Direct participants with simple route reminders when needed and encourage safe participation.
Support event staff by helping maintain a positive and engaging atmosphere at designated cheering stations.
At the conclusion of the event, ensure all cheer station materials, signs, and equipment are removed from the walk/run trail and returned to the designated area.
Report any safety concerns or issues observed along the route to the event coordinator.

Parking and Safety Medium Priority

Direct vehicles to designated parking areas.
Manage traffic flow at entrances and exits to minimize congestion.
Reserve and monitor accessible parking spaces for individuals with disabilities.
Assist vendors, sponsors, and event staff with unloading and parking.
Coordinate with local law enforcement or venue staff, if applicable.
Provide directions to parking areas, event entrances, and drop-off/pick-up locations.

Clean Up Low Priority

Details

Pick up litter and dispose of trash and recycling. Collect leftover event materials, such as brochures, signage, first aid supplies, and decorations. Take down tents, canopies, banners, signs, and flags. Help volunteers and staff transport materials to vehicles or storage.
