Details

Direct and cheer runners along the race route. Prevent cars from entering race route using traffic cones. Direct cars to use alternate routes. Move cones at designated times to guide runners along race route. PLEASE ONLY VOLUNTEER IF YOU ARE 100% ABLE TO ARRIVE AND DEPART ON-TIME.

8:30am shift: Assist Town Crew with picking up cones along race route, putting away tables and chairs, and moving recycle bins. Requires ability to lift 20 lbs. Must wear athletic shoes and be willing to get a little dirty/sweaty.

10:00am shift: Assist Race Director with taking down start/finish line and registration.

Location

8:30am shift: Meet at back of Safeway on Armory Avenue - look for white Town Truck

10:00am shift: Meet at Start/Finish Line on Armory Avenue

Anytime on Saturday, September 14th (about 2-2.5 hours). Walk/Ride (or have a parent drive) the race route, placing a race flyer at EVERY home and business along the race route (approximately 2 miles distance covered). No Parking Sign Hanging (Students w/Parent Driving)

Anytime on Thursday, September 19th (about 1.5-2 hours). Requires vehicle driven by parent to carry ~60 signs. Each volunteer will walk part of the race route (about 1 mile), placing half of the no parking signs at designated spots from a map, while vehicle follows with the signs.
