olunteers will be responsible for assigning the bib number to the athlete and ensuring that the athlete receives their t-shirt and appropriate materials. This packet pickup is to alleviate the crowds for the local runners on Friday afternoon and is subject to cancellation.

Water Stop #1 Group (N Schumaker @ Hinman Lane)

Water stations on the course and the backbone of the event. This year we will have 10 aide stations, with basic food products, water, Gatorade, and bathroom facilities for the runners.

We would prefer groups of 4 persons that are comfortable being around each other. Each volunteer will be supplied with masks and nitrile gloves, which must be worn.

Volunteers will be restocking water and Gatorade bottles, in addition to restocking pre packaged foods. You will not need to hand anything to anyone.

Water Stop #2 (Colbourn Mill near Eastwicke Drive)

Water stations on the course and the backbone of the event. Last year we had 17 water stations, with basic food products, water, Gatorade, and bathroom facilities for the runners.

We would prefer groups of 4 persons that are comfortable being around each other. Each volunteer will be supplied with masks and nitrile gloves, which must be warn.

Volunteers will be pouring water and/or Gatorade from gallon jugs in to containers the runners will be carrying.

Marathon/Half-Marathon Corral Assist

Help us to keep our runners safely staged for the race. You will be helping our race staff to make sure that the runners find their appropriate staging area, and that we are able to keep social distancing of our runners and spectators.

5k Corral Start High Priority

Details

We are looking for a few folks to help out with our start area for the 5k event.

Volunteers will wear masks (and gloves when appropriate) and will help guide runners to their proper staging corral. There are four corrals and they are color coded. You will then help us lead them up to the start chute, when their wave is called.

Marathon/Half Marathon - Temperature Checks High Priority

2 volunteers to help take temperatures with a handheld, forehead thermometer, at the entrance to the start corral. Volunteers will wear gloves and masks
