Help kids/parents set up their transition area. Manage athletes/parents coming in and out. Assist kids with racking bikes, getting on helmet, check shoelaces. Direct kids to the right in and out for bike and run.

Details

Direct kids along the course whether on the bike or run and help keep spectators off the course. Those near transition, help to manage run or bike in and out the correct chutes. This position requires standing throughout the race and some walking.

Medical Volunteer

We are in need of people with medical background to work with our medical director at the race venue and on the course.

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Help manage spectators to keep them off the course. Direct athletes and slow them down as they turn. Remind them to stay right and watch for oncoming bike traffic on the other side. Requires walking or biking up to a total of 2 miles (1 mile out and back) for a couple positions. Volunteers are encouraged to bring bikes to get to their position.

Details

This position will stand 10-15 feet back from the finish to ensure all finishers (especially the 3-5 bikes) stop and stay in the course area. For the 3-5 year olds, ensure they leave the finish area with an adult.
