Racers will arrive to NCC bike shop and pick up their Race Plate and any purchased swag. Along with answering any general questions they have.

Volunteer

Details

- Course workers will be located on the fat bike race course at Avalanche.
- You'll be assigned a specific intersection to cheer racers on, direct them where to turn if needed. As well as assist if there are any crashes or a participants injured (medical staff will be on site).
- Course workers will be released from the course once the last racers has come through, we will have a volunteer riding the course at the end to release you. You'll be asked to remove any course tape and signs on your way down.

Lap Signs Low Priority

- Lap Sign workers will be set at the intersection to either head to the finish line, or turn to complete the 2nd or 3rd lap.
- This task does require you to be a bit outgoing and loud to cheer racers on and let them know where to turn / when to turn.
- You'll be released from this position as soon as the last racer comes through and we're givin the all clear.

- Final Sweep will do a lap behind the final group to release volunteers.
- Final Sweep will also just let anyone left on the course watching know the last racers are done and we'll all be back in town at Stiggs for the afterparty!

- Trivia Shortcut workers will be stationed at our Trivia spot to ask racers questions before they can pass through.
- Volunteers for this spot need to be outgoing and okay being loud and talking to lots of people.
- Trivia Shortcut volunteers are also known as our hype squad!
- You'll also be helping with course tear down by bringing any signage and tape down to the bottom of Avalanche.

- Course Tear Down can do other volunteer positions as well.
- You'll walk Avalanche and grab any extra / leftover race tape, signs, etc.
- Volunteers will go out as the race comes to an end.
- Volunteers will bring all items to the bottom of Avalanche.
