Assist with lining up community walk participants at the start after the 5k runners and walkers have left. Hold signs showing them where to line up or lead them out with signs so they know where to go. Must be over the age of 18!

We need photographers to capture our participants enjoying the event - dancing, running, visiting booths, etc. Photographers must provide a free copy of all shots to Komen Michigan within 72 hours of the event. Komen will credit you whenever we use your photo. Photographers under the age of 18 will require a parental/guardian consent

Provide entertainment and encouragement to the race participants along the race route. We would love to have musicians, singers, bands, a Capella groups, etc. Keep in mind we do not have access to power along the course. Must be over the age of 18, or have parental/guardian consent.

Girls Love Mail gives the gift of hand-written letters to newly diagnosed breast cancer patients. Race participants can take home information about the program and also register to win a bike. Volunteers in this position will help to set-up and manage the Girls Love Mail information booth on Race day. Must be over the age of 18.

Rovers are friendly and engaging volunteers for the I AM KOMEN program who are constantly on the go at the Race, sharing the program's messages of positive breast health. Armed with an I AM KOMEN? rover bag, stickers and declaration cards, Rovers encourage Race participants to make a breast health declaration at the booth or online at iamkomen.org. Must be over the age of 18, or have parental/guardian consent.
