Packet Pick-Up/Food Prep High Priority

Details

Sunday, August 17th at 6AM : Assist participants with race-day packet pick-up, mark participants with their race numbers, then help prepare food for participants to enjoy after the race.

Location: Halfmoon Lake

Must be 17 or older, or be at least 14 years old with two adults present per 14-16 year old.

Start Line/Gear Check

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

Kayak/SUP 5K/10K High Priority

Aid Station High Priority

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Details

Sunday, August 17th at 5:30 AM: Use your pontoon (or other boat) to set up and run an aid station for swimmers on race day, providing water, Gatorade, and GU energy gel.


Must be 18 or older.

Location

Details on the exact spot and timing will be sent out within a week of race day.

Finish Line

You must be 14 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

Sunday, August 17th at 8 AM: Hand out medals and water to participants as they cross the finish line.

Must be 16 or older, or be at least 14 years old with two adults present per 14-15 year old.

Zero Waste Recycling Team High Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Sunday, August 17th at 8:00 AM: Assist with our efforts to reduce waste that goes to landfills after the race. We are a Zero Waste Initiative company, making this an essential part of race day.
