Details

Check people in and hand out race packets of bibs, shirts, and giveaways. Help crowd find appropriate line. Most will be preregistered; some will be registering onsite where handling of money and computers is involved. Organize remaining bibs and clean up concession area when done.

Food & Bev Tent / Recycling / Cleanup

Details

Tasks include: Set out food/bev in a nice display. Monitor the food tables and refill as needed. Keep area tidy. Change out bags as necessary in the recycling and trash receptacles. Try to encourage people to put plastic water bottles in the recycling containers. Help with cleanup at the end of the event.

First check in at the concessions stand at Saline High School Stadium (1300 Campus Parkway, Saline, MI). You will then be directed to the Food/Bev tent on the Auxiliary Field (where the track is). Food/Bev lead is Stephanie Stahl.

Parking Lot Monitors

Details

Monitor the Pass Only / Handicap parking lot entrance to make sure only people with passes or handicap placards enter and park in the lot. You will be provided a list to use as verification for entry.

Bike behind the last 5K runners & walkers, letting parking lot volunteers know when cars can leave the lots and when they can clean up their area and head back to the main stadium lot. Must bring your own bike.

You will be assigned a specific location along the 5K or 1M race route to help direct runners/walkers and to cheer them on.

Be "Sting" the Mascot!

Accompany the person wearing the "Sting" mascot costume and make sure they can get around okay. Help them interact with kids and make sure the kids aren't damaging the costume.

Family Fun Zone Activities + Cleanup

Oversee the Family Fun Zone area, helping the kids have fun and stay safe. You will be assigned a task upon arrival. Help with event cleanup once activities end.
