Set-up volunteers are asked to do any set-up involved with the event, including but not limited to:
-Setting up sponsor/event tables and chairs
-Assistance in set-up of water stations
-Placement of signage along race route
-Assistance to sponsors setting up booths
-Any additional set-up responsibilities

Race Route Director

Details

Race route directors are asked to be located at the different intersections of the race route in order to assist in blocking traffic and directing runners to keep them on the correct route. We will have rolling street closures so we will need multiple directors for all of the different intersections throughout the route.

Event Clean-Up

Details

Clean-up volunteers are asked to do any clean-up involved with the event, including but not limited to:
-Taking down sponsor/event tables and chairs
-Assistance in clean-up of water stations
-Removal of signage along race route
-Assistance to sponsors taking down booths
-Assistance with garbage/recycling removal
-Any additional clean-up responsibilities

Water Station Volunteers

Details

Volunteers will stand at both the beginning/ending water station and the halfway water station. They will fill up water cups and pass them out to runners going by. They will also handle any re-filling necessary for the water coolers. Once all runners have finished with the station, these volunteers are responsible for helping take-down coolers and returning to event site.

Pre-Registration Check-In

Details

Volunteers will be in charge of keeping participant bibs, entry forms & t-shirts in order and passing them out to participants when they come to register. Bibs will be in alphabetical order already, however there will be some last-minute registrants that will need to have bib & t-shirt packets put together for them as well. Volunteers will also be in charge of recording any mistakes made during registration on Change sheets to ensure that all participants' results are published correctly.

Registration

Details

Volunteers will handle processing day-of registrations. We will need people handing out/collecting registration forms, collecting cash from participants and getting them their bib and t-shirt. Volunteers will also be in charge of recording any mistakes made during registration on Change sheets to ensure that all participants' results are published correctly.
