Register all racers, collect payments, mandatory signed waivers from all participants, bib/race number items distributed, pass out maps and festival schedules.

*Please note this volunteer role is located outdoors at the Grand Avenue Chalet registration tent, This role also includes helping individuals register on tablets.

* Ability to operate cellular and tablet devises and provide friendly customer service is preferred for this opportunity.

Venue setup will include physical work laying out Demo Town, Expo Village and bag toss game, installing temporary signage and banners, setting up the KA trailer, tables and chairs for registration, trash receptacles, etc.

Parking/Grounds/Greeter

Details

Help on the grounds conducting clean up, directing parking, greeting festival attendees, and helping with general ground items as needed. Note: A festival handbook will be provided to help you assist festival attendees. Please dress according to the weather and wear hiking or closed-toe shoes. This will be a mobile position.

Beverage Tent

The Beverage Tent Volunteer is an essential role within the bike festival's operations, responsible for assisting with the smooth and efficient functioning of the festival's beverage tent. This position primarily involves serving and selling beverages to festival attendees who visit the beverage tent, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and promoting a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants.

Key Responsibilities include beverage service, courteously serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to festival attendees in accordance with established guidelines and legal requirements. Volunteer will be handling, cash, monitoring attendees to prevent underage drinking and intoxication, reporting any concerns or issues to the appropriate festival authorities. Promote a safe and responsible drinking environment.

By embracing this Beverage Tent Volunteer role, you will contribute to the overall success of the bike festival, help create a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere, and play a vital part in ensuring a positive experience for all festival attendees

Photo/Video

Details

Shoot actions photos and videos during the event. Areas of focus will be stationed on the hill for races, in route of the Adventure Ride or catching the activities of festival. Meet at the Volunteer Registration Center near the Chalet to check in, receive your badge, and access your focus station.

Note: Drone use must be coordinated prior to event weekend. Insurance and liability waivers are required.

Coordinate all kids activities and games. Work with Harbortown & COGGS on kids bike games and other family fun activities and games.

Volunteer Coordinator

Details

Work directly with the Lay out and Set up leads to ensure coordination of volunteers and groups. This person is the central point of communication for the festival set up to ensure organization of task list, sign-up sheet, waivers, any supplies needed, t-shirt distribution, and organized record keeping ensuring an enjoyable experience for everyone as well as smooth shift changes and easy instructions/direction.

Timing Assistant
