Mile: All Races (within first and last half mile)
Time: 7:10a – approx. 10:15a
Tasks:
• Make sure runners cross the intersection safely.
o Make sure vehicles see the runners.
o Legally you cannot stop traffic.
o Runners from both races will be running out and back. Make sure runners are staying LEFT here, this will allow those finishing to not collide with those running out.


All Volunteers:
• Legally you cannot stop any vehicles/traffic. Make traffic aware by standing in the intersection (obviously keeping yourself safe). Runners/pedestrians have the right of way.
• DO NOT move pre-placed cones.
• The spray painted arrows on the ground are the side of the road the runners should be running on. Blue is for the 10-mile, green is for the 5k.
• At the end of the race, if there are any cones on the roadway around you, please stack them and place them on the boulevard.
• At the end of the race, if there are any No Parking signs on your block, please pick them up and stack them on the boulevard.
• At the end of the race, if there are any barricades on your block, please break down and stack them on the boulevard.
