Capture the event through your lens! The goal of the photographer is to get photos of as many participants as possible. You can use any device you may have as we do not have one to provide. After the event, submit pictures to the marketing team for Loppet Foundation use. Please note photos are shared on RunnerTag for participants to download for free. All photos used for marketing will be credited.

Fluid Station #3 - Quaking Bog/394

Set up and manage aid stations (water, energy drink, snacks) for participants. Keep the area clean and tear down aid station after the last participant has come through. Bring your good vibes, smiles and energy to share!
**Children under 16 must be accompanied by a coach or adult guardian.

This sign up is for Aid Station 2, located in the Quaking Bog Parking lot.

Course Team

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

The Course team will be broken down into two groups: Course Marking on 5/16, and Course Checking the morning of 5/17. You are welcome to join for either or both offerings as you are available, more information will be sent closer to the race. Requires knowledge of Wirth Park trails, Loppet marking system and meeting with Race Director to review courses before race day. Check the courses to ensure that markings are still in place and clear. Repair or add markings as needed.

Course Tear Down

Hike, run, bike course to collect signage/arrows. Break down the start area. This is an outside job. Please dress appropriately. This role is completed in teams of two, recruit a buddy to volunteer with you!

Finish Crew

Details

Help with the finish line, hand out post race snacks and water, and help pick up the park after the race.
Cheer on participants! This is an outside job. Please dress appropriately for weather conditions.

Note: The 7-9:30 shift will be helping with the Finish Line Set up, the 8:30-12:30 shift will be helping to serve participant food and assisting with tear down.

This sign up is specifically for volunteers associated with Mile in My Shoes.

Set up aid station tables to preparing for participants at points on the course.
Fill and restock water cups and set out for participants to grab as needed.
Set out and restock food snacks. Pick up used cups and wrappers
Tear down aid station after the last participant has come through.

Medical Support

Details

Provide medical assistance on the course and start/finish areas. Medical volunteers are approved and scheduled by the Loppet Medical Director. A range of medical training and backgrounds are acceptable and helpful including MD, RN, EMT, AT, Residents and ski/bike patrols. Please answer the medical question during volunteer signup.

Announcer: Finish Line

Announce finishers as they cross the line, provide instruction to participants in the park, sponsor statements. Staff will prepare script and notes. Experience and comfort on a microphone and audio equipment is a plus.
