Details

Provide medical assistance on the course and start/finish areas. Medical volunteers are approved and scheduled by the Loppet Medical Director. A range of medical training and backgrounds are acceptable and helpful including MD, RN, EMT, AT, Residents and ski/bike patrols. Please answer the medical question during volunteer signup.
Note: The Saturday, 2/2, 5:30pm-10pm shift, is for the Luminary Loppet on Lake of the Isles. All other shifts are for Festival races from Cedar Lake to The Trailhead.

Announcer

At least 5 more volunteers needed.

Details

Help at our start lines or announce finishers as they cross the line! Provide instruction to participants in the stadium, make sponsor statements, and help create a fun and exciting vibe. Staff will prepare script and notes. Experience and comfort on a microphone and audio equipment is a plus. Sign up is to identify your interest. Announcers are scheduled and approved by event staff.

Looking for an enthusiast photographer to capture pictures of the event. You can use any device you may have as we do not have one to provide. After the event to submit to marketing team for Loppet Foundation use. Hours flexible based on events.

Help support elementary school students before and during the Next Generation Loppet race. No experience necessary. Tasks include things like greeting buses of kids, helping them put on skis and poles, and helping as needed along the course and at the finish line.

Details

Work right on the race course supporting racers! Mix energy drinks, serve drinks and snacks, keep race aid stations clean for all participants. Pick-up area at the end of the race. Groups and teams welcome! Times may vary by location and change if course changes have to be made. Position is outside. Please dress appropriately and bring your own water bottle and snacks. Shifts are approx 4-5 hours long depending on day and location.

Assist Marketing & Sponsorship Coordinator:
-Meet Anika by the Fireplace at 7:00am
-Measuring out spots and marking them with cones, setting up sponsor banners
-Greeting sponsors and helping them bring their stuff to their spot / get set up (preassigned - they will have spot assignments)
-Directing sponsors to their reserved parking spots
