You will be stationed at our one location to hand out water and cheer on the participants on race day.

Timer High Priority

You will be given a timer, pen, and paper with each participants name on it and stationed at the finish line on race day. Your job will be to begin the timer when participants begin the race and then note their finish time next to their name on the page. You will need to remain at the finish line until all participants are finished.

Snack station High Priority

Your job will be to remain at the food and drink table and make sure everything is in stock and accessible for participants.

Direction/Cheer person High Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

You will be stationed at a location on the race route. Your job will be to point participants in the right direction as they approach you and cheer them on.

Check-In High Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Your job will be to check in each participant. If they are a walk-in you will need to assign them a bib, note the number, and take their entry fee. Show them a map of the route and assure them there will be directionals along the route. You will also handle obtaining the participants finish time from the timer volunteers and documenting that on the chalk board.

Pacer High Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Your job will be to run the 5K at a consist pace among the participants. Know the route well before hand!

Fill in Medium Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

This volunteer is very important! You will cover whatever I have forgotten to appoint a volunteer for. You must be available and flexible. You must be able to take on a task in a moments notice with few instructions about how to do it! It can be fast paced on race day!
