Volunteers for the first shift are responsible for helping set up the packet pick up area. These volunteers will help check-in participants, take on-site registrations and pass out tee shirts to runners.

Friday Packet Pick-Up: Shift 2

These volunteers are responsible for helping check in participants, take on-site registration and pass out tee shirts to runners. They are also responsible for helping clear down after their shift ends.

2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Event Day Packet Pick Up

At least 10 more volunteers needed.

Details

These volunteers are responsible for set up, clear down, and all other packet pick-up tasks. They will distribute tee shirts to participants, as well as help check-in runners and process on-site registrations.

Location

Emporia High School. 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m .

Course Monitors

At least 15 more volunteers needed.

Details

Perfect for clubs, teams and more, course monitors cheer on participants while directing them through the course.

Location

Emporia High School, 7-10 p.m .

Aid Station

At least 5 more volunteers needed.

Details

These volunteers are responsible for passing out water to runners along the course and encouraging them along the way. They will help set up the station and clear down.

Finish Line Medals

At least 5 more volunteers needed.

Details

These volunteers will unwrap medals and distribute them to runners as they cross the finish line. Responsible for set up and clearing down of their station.

Finish line Water/Snacks

These volunteers will distribute snacks and water bottles to runners as they cross the finish line.
