Details

Volunteers with assist distributing race packets, bib numbers and race swag to the athletes. Volunteers will assist with answering athlete/spectator questions, selling merchandise and helping with the awards ceremony. You may be asked to assist with setup/teardown of info tent as well.

Aid Station #1 Katy Trail and Olive Street High Priority

This position is great for kids paired with an adult. The volunteer's main responsibility is to ensure water and/or Gatorade is supplied for athletes at the aid station. Volunteers will need to fill cups and hand them out to the athletes. Also, please ensure cups are picked up off ground during the race. There will be a trashcan provided. This Aid Station will service 5K, 10K & Half Marathon Athletes multiple times. Will need one volunteer here to focus on course marshaling and directing athletes.

Blanchette Landing Boat Ramp located at 110 Olive St. Saint Charles, MO 63301, you can drive and park at your volunteer spot. Bathrooms are located at this volunteer location. Will need one volunteer here to focus on course marshaling and directing athletes.

Run Course Marshal Blanchette Landing Boat Ramp Medium Priority

Details

Volunteers will be directing athletes on the course. Telling them where to turn around or which way to go. This volunteer will direct runners to get off the Katy Trail and run through the Blanchette Landing Boat Ramp parking lot and enter the trailhead.

Run Course Marshal - Dusable Park on the East Side of the Katy Trail High Priority

Details

Volunteers will be directing athletes on the course. Telling them where to turn around or which way to go. As runners come out of the trail system this volunteer instructs 10K and Half Marathon participants to head NORTH on the Dusable Trail System and directs 5K participants to get on the Katy and head SOUTH toward the finish line

Dusable Park - Entrance into the parking lot is located at the intersection of 101 Tecumseh St. and N Main St. Charles, MO 63301. You can drive and park at your volunteer spot. Bathrooms are located at this volunteer location.

Aid Station #5 Katy Trail near Dusable Park High Priority

This position is great for kids paired with an adult. The volunteer's main responsibility is to ensure water and/or Gatorade is supplied for athletes at the aid station. Volunteers will need to fill cups and hand them out to the athletes. Also, please ensure cups are picked up off ground during the race. There will be a trashcan provided. This Aid Station will service 10K, Half Marathon & Marathon Athletes multiple times. Will need one volunteer here to focus on course marshaling and directing athletes.

Run Course Marshal - Dusable Park on the West Side of the Katy Trail High Priority

Details

Volunteers will be directing athletes on the course. Telling them where to turn around or which way to go.

As runners are coming off the DuSable trail just East of the Katy Trail they will pass the volunteer and are to keep North on the Katy Trail for about .75 miles and then they will see a turnaround cone and head back towards you. When you see them again you then instruct them to enter Dusable Park on the West side of the Katy Trail.

2501-2509 N River Rd. Saint Charles, MO 63301. You can drive and park near your volunteer spot and then walk up onto the Katy Trail.

Run Course Marshal in Frontier Park by Katy Depot - Half Marathon Turnaround Low Priority

Volunteers will be directing athletes on the course. Telling them where to turn around or which way to go. You will instruct half marathoners to turnaround for their 2nd loop.

On the Katy Trail near the intersection of S. Riverside Drive and E. Chauncey St. You can drive and park near your volunteer spot and then walk up onto the Katy Trail.

Aid Station #2 - Mel Wetter Pkwy & Little Hills Expy High Priority

Mel Wetter Pkwy & Little Hills Expy. Will be able to park close ish to aid station, it is a bit of a busy intersection.

Tally Ho Drive and Fox Hill Park Trail. In a park. Will be able to park close to aid station. There are bathrooms at this location.

Near Missouri River. Will need to walk into volunteer spot on the trail. I think this will be a 10+ minute walk in to get to trail.
