Volunteers will assist with moving runners to the start line, keeping walkers, strollers, and pets to the rear of the pack, and distributing food and water to the participants when they finish the track.

Volunteers will assist with tearing down the race sight as well as ensuring all trash along race track is properly disposed of.

Volunteers will assist with race-day new registrants. Duties will include handling payments and ensuring registration papers are filled out completely and correctly.

Virtual Run Assistant

Volunteers will assist with putting together mailing boxes for participants in the virtual run. Medals, t-shirts, and registration packets will all be mailed to virtual participants.

Medal Distribution

Volunteers will assist with passing out medals to the participants at the end of the track.

Task Coordinator

At least 7 more volunteers needed.

Details

Each volunteer will be assigned a specific task. Any problems that volunteers might come upon on race day will be directed to the Task Coordinator. The Coordinator will then work to resolve the problem. Any problems that can not be resolved alone can be directed to the Task Manager.

An example scenario: The water station runs out of water cups. The volunteer assigned as Water Station Coordinator will be notified. He/she would then retrieve more water and cups from storage and bring them to the volunteers at the water station. If there is no remaining water or cups, he/she would call the Task Manager to find a solution.
