Race Day Setup & Course Marking

Volunteers will assist race crew in setting up start/finish, registration, merchandise, etc.

Course Marshals

Details

Help direct runners at key intersections to insure that runners stay on correct course. May provide assistance in directing traffic when runners are present.

Highway Course Marshals will direct runners to stay to the left of the center line.

Sweepers

February 24, 2024

Details

Follow the participants as directed by the Race Director. Advise aid stations and course marshals that you are the sweeper and that they can be released from their duties.

Race Day Teardown & Course Marking Removal

Details

Volunteers will assist race crew in tearing down finish line, registration, merchandise, snacks, tables, etc. at conclusion of race.

Remove course markings and signage from the course after the race.

Location

Meet at Seeley Lake Elementary gym (200 School St.) You will need a vehicle (truck) to be able to transport the materials collected from on the course.

Equipment Return

February 24, 2024

Details

Assist with unloading equipment at conclusion of the race.

Meet at RWM storage units: Copperstone Stor-all, 8700 Roller Coaster Road.
Note - time frame is estimate only as start time will be based on when race is completed and race team can return to Missoula from Seeley Lake. Race organizers will text you on race day as they depart Seeley Lake.

Sweeper (Vehicle)

Details

Follow behind runners with vehicle to pick up course signage, course marking, and aid station supplies. Return items to finish line when race is complete!

*Volunteer must be willing and able to drive their own vehicle along the race course*

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.
