Day Before the Ride - Packet Pick up Team - You can Ride and Volunteer Medium Priority

Parking Team - First Shift - You can Ride and Volunteer

For the FIRST shift 6am-8am **You can ride AND volunteer**, all other shifts you are not able to volunteer and ride. We need volunteers to assist with parking management at Oskar Blues, 342 Mountain Industrial Dr, Brevard, NC 28712, and in overflow areas. You'll be provided a bright vest and we'll direct you on where to direct incoming / outcoming vehicles, etc.

MEET AT P1 (Parking area 1) by the the tractor trailers on the main road into Oskar Blues.

Race Hub Crew for Set Up and Clean Up - You can Ride and Volunteer

**You can ride AND volunteer** We need assistance with setting up the tables, chairs, tents and start/finish line in and around Oskar Blues before the ride. This will involve lifting, moving, pushing, and using supplies. Wear layers and bring sunscreen! You can help before and after you ride.

Day of the Race Packet Pick Up - You can Ride and Volunteer

**You can ride AND volunteer** Race Day Packet-Pickup & On-site Registration will be BUSY! We are seeking folks who are skilled with iPads/technology, good at sorting t-shirts, troubleshooting, and generally energetic and organized. This will be a BUSY 3 hours and you will receive proper instruction depending on your role(s) at this volunteer area. Thank you! Go Mini Food Sorting After the Race - You can Ride and Volunteer

Details

On the Tuesday or Wednesday after the race the Go Mini's with rest stop leftover food and water needs to be sorted and organized. Empty the minis at Union Transfer, clean up and return items to the BRBC container at Cane Creek Cycling Components. This is done the week after the ride. Sometimes it is Tuesday or Wednesday after the minis are returned to Union Transfer.

Volunteer During the Ride - Cannot Ride

Race Hub Crew During the Ride - Finish Bag Tent and Set up

Details

During the ride we need helpers at the Finish Bag Tent and to help transition the set up to allow for more riders and lunch. Help us set up chairs and tables. This role is for non riders.

Course Marshal Team

Details

During the ride you will be on the course, wearing a safety vest, encouraging and pointing the riders along the course. No prior knowledge of the course needed - we will train you.

SAG Crew - Support Riders High Priority

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Various support roles in vehicles to help the riders.
Hunter Subaru will be supplying the vehicles that will be able to handle a hitch mounted bike rack. The SAG / Ham Radio volunteers meet at Oskar Blues Brewery on the northeast corner of the facility.

Rest Stop Volunteers

Helping at the rest stops to give out water and food to riders. Rest stop coordinator will give details as to rest stop locations and tasks.

Parking Crew - During the Ride
