ALL runners will come by this area
Once the course sweeper passes the area, you can clean up the area and set everything off to the side of the road.

Details

Course monitors are a very important part of the race. They ensure that all runners make the correct turns at critical intersections. The ideal course monitor will also be a cheerleader for runners as they are passing through their intersection. Some busier locations will also have a police officer to help control traffic.

1.) Assist in setting up registration
2.) Meet with a Junction 311 worker
3.) Greet each runner with a smile
4.) Ask for bib number, use numbers on box as reference
5.) Read name & race registered
6.) Call out t-shirt size (no swapping until the race starts)
7.) Walk Ups- Fill out registration form, collect payment for day of race and place in cash box, assign and write bib number on form
8.) Do not give walk ups a shirt. They must check after the race starts
9.) If there is a question you can’t answer, get a Junction 311 Team Member
10.) Smile! We appreciate you!
