Volunteers will sort t-shirts, prepare registration packets and prep tables for race weekend. Lunch is provided.

Course Set-Up

March 18, 2024

Details

Volunteers will setup tents near Start/Finish Line then setup water table at midpoint on 5K course.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. to volunteer here.
These volunteers will check-in at Volunteer Station at NCC for needed supplies and transportation to setup points.

Neighbor Squad Station Setup

Volunteers will setup this station with provided items and fill water coolers. These volunteers will check in at Volunteer Station at NCC for supplies and instructions.

Registration Late Pickup

March 18, 2024

Details

Volunteers will distribute registration packets to registered participants arriving late to race (after 9 AM start time). Volunteers will remove timing chips/bibs from unclaimed packets for return to Run The East. Remaining packets will be sorted into boxes for later pickup.

Finish Line Squad

Details

Volunteers will celebrate all participants wearing 5K bibs crossing the Finish Line and assist with awards ceremony.

Start/Finish Line at Knightdale Station Park

Race Clean Up

March 18, 2024

Details

After the final finishers cross finish line, volunteers will Check-In near Finish Line for their clean-up assignments.
