Registration volunteers will assist with race registration on race day. You should plan to arrive by 07:00 AM for training. All volunteers will receive a volunteer t-shirt. Please wear this shirt during the duration of the race.

Course Guides High Priority

Details

Course volunteers will assist on the race course. You should report to the Hayes Barton Baptist Church by 07:00 AM to receive your assigned location and instructions. All volunteers will receive a volunteer t-shirt. Please wear this shirt during the duration of the race.

Water Station High Priority

Details

Assisting with water stop along the race course. Volunteers will setup the station, hand water out to runners as they pass, then clean up/pack up the water stop after the last runner/trail runner volunteer passes. All volunteers will receive a volunteer t-shirt. Please wear this shirt during the duration of the race.

MC High Priority

Details

This person will be responsible for all race announcements made over a microphone leading up to and during the race. Last task will be race awards announcements inside the Health Fair. Plan to arrive at 7am. All volunteers will receive a volunteer t-shirt. Please wear this shirt during the duration of the race.

Trail Runner(s) High Priority

You must be 18 or older to volunteer for this task.

Volunteer(s) who will walk/run the race behind the last person. These volunteers will signal the end of the race to the course guides as they pass on the way back to HBBC. Plan to arrive by 7:30. Help with any Race Day clean up requirements. Breaking down course and water station. All volunteers will receive a volunteer t-shirt. Please wear this shirt during the duration of the race.

Race Packet/Bag Stuffing Medium Priority

Minimum met, 1 volunteer spot remaining.

Details

These volunteers will help with packing the race informational packets/gift bags that will be given out to each runner at registration on race day. We will choose a time in the week leading up to race for this task. All volunteers will receive a volunteer t-shirt. Please wear this shirt during the duration of the race.
