Sponsor/Exhibitor Set Up Support;
Prepare Water Station Supplies;
Assist with Parking;
Set Up Race Signage (sponsor signs, info signs, etc.);
Set Up Registration Area;
Set Up Awards Area;
Set Up Trash/Recycling Bins;
Support Parking Attendants;
Move Fencing/Barriers as needed in between races;
Fill Course Monitor Positions during the Fun Run and 5K Races;
Support races in other volunteer roles as needed and assigned;
Trash Removal/Disposal;
Breakdown and clean up above areas after the race;
Return equipment to trailers;
Return traffic cones/fencing after race;
Break down tables/etc. after race;

Details

The on-course Water Station and Cheer Station is positioned where runners will pass during the race.
Volunteers will park in a lot off Long Avenue close to the starting line.
- Hand water to runners as they pass by;
- Cheer on the 5K runners!
- Be loud and supportive.
-Play stand tunes for all runners - mixture of instruments for the 3 stations.
- Attend to any participants that appear to need assistance or medical treatment;
- Pick up cups/debris and place in trash containers;
- Clean up area after last runner passes;
Relocate to the Picnic Area after the 5K race to cheer on the Awards Ceremony and participate in post race festivities.

Clean water containers prior to use;
Fill water containers and stage for use;
Place a self serve water station in an area for runners to access prior to their events;
Fill water cups in advance of race starts;
Hand water to runners as they finish (all events: 1 Mile/Fun Run, 5K);
Attend to any participants that appear to need assistance or medical treatment;
Pick up cups/debris and place in trash containers;
Clean up area at end of race and return supplies

This role will assist in handing our awards to Fun Runners, 5K Runners and Top Finishers in the 5K Races.
Organize Awards/Plan Distribution in Advance of Race Day.
Keep Checklist of Awards Picked Up.
Fun Run Finisher Ribbon Distribution.
5K Top Overall Winners (Male & Female - Top 3)
5K Awards - Top 3 for each Age Group;
Arrange for Post Race Pickup of Awards.

Doctors, nurses and other medical professional are needed to assist with race participants needing any medical assistance.
Medical volunteers will be stationed primarily in the finish line chute, and will assist with other finish line duties when not needed for medical assistance.
